HR-Semantics workshop

A one-day workshop has been organized during the Knowledge Web general assembly. Three HR experts -Theo Mensen(the Dutch employment agency), Luk Vervenne(Synergetics.be, HR-XML competency), and Claude Ostyn (the IEEE-LTSC chair)- have been invited to this workshop to discuss and give presentations about the need for semantics in the HR domain.

The challenge of Competence Ontologies

A seminar by Claude Ostyn during the Knowledge Web general assembly. Claude presented very well the main challenge of modeling, representing, and using competence ontologies. The seminar was ended with a lively discussion with all WP leaders, area managers, and other Knowledge Web partners.
